What is the most rewarding aspect of your work?
The most rewarding aspect of my work is witnessing the impact I have with students and teachers. It’s about more than just creating systems; it’s about fostering an environment where every student, regardless of their background or challenges, can thrive.
Helping a teacher support a struggling student to grasp a concept they once found daunting, or facilitating interventions that help students learn to manage their emotions or overcome obstacles to learning, is incredibly fulfilling. It’s a privilege to play a role in their journey, helping them not only overcome obstacles but also discover their unique strengths and talents. Ultimately, it’s about empowering students and teachers to realize their full potential in a supportive and positive environment.
What is the greatest benefit of being a NAPSA member?
For me, receiving information and having access to resources specific to my everyday challenges is quite helpful and reassuring!
